Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and/or entry point protocols at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or designated access points to help support authorized access, document visitor activity, and/or communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or other security-related concerns in production, warehouse, and exterior areas.
• Complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access by reporting policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related issues to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
