Security Flex Officer

About the role

Primary Location: Ellendale, ND. The Flex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises, access control, and patrol various locations.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for client sites.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for the assigned site.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service skills needed.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required for some locations.
• 1 year of security, law enforcement
