Security Flex Officer (2nd/3rd Shift)

About the role

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for providing security support in various shifts at MIT. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campus areas for potential security threats and hazards.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Perform routine patrols and inspections of campus facilities.
• Assist with incident response and follow-up actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a security-related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic computer literacy.

Skills

• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment.
