Security Field Supervisor

About the Role

Allied Universal® is hiring a Field Supervisor to support operations for remotely managed accounts by performing on-site supervision of Security Professionals (SPs) and ensuring site coverage at all times. The Field Supervisor works closely with Operations Managers on a day-to-day basis to supervise remote service delivery.

$17.51 per hour. Must be at least 21 years of age or older, hold a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record. Security experience is required, along with comfort using and training others on smart devices.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned post locations on a regular basis (specific schedule varies) to monitor performance, address daily operations issues, communicate policy changes or company information, adjust staffing schedules as needed, and conduct post inspections to ensure professional image (including hygiene and uniform appropriateness of officers) and quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure Post Order manual and all other post and training information is properly maintained and updated, and that the post is clean and organized.
• Conduct on-the-job training, in coordination with site supervision, for new employees or when post orders change. Training may include orientation, review of post orders, routine responsibilities, and emergency response procedures.
• Respond to call-offs during shifts by identifying replacements and/or standing post until replacements arrive. Assist the Scheduler with adjustments due to call-offs or other changes.
• Identify personnel problems (e.g., payroll issues, employee relations complaints) and escalate them to the Operations Manager and/or Corporate Human Resources Director. May assist in investigations or write reports as directed.
• Administer counseling or disciplinary actions as directed by Branch Manager and/or Corporate HR Director. Field Supervisors do not initiate such actions but execute them as instructed.
• Distribute information to posts as directed by Branch or Corporate office, including communicating updates to Security Officers and obtaining signed acknowledgments or documents.
• Respond to client or site emergencies, ensuring appropriate communication to Operations and/or Branch Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements per state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience and:
  • No major violations within the last 36 months.
  • No more than one at-fault accident in the last 24 months.
  • No more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
  • No combination of one at-fault accident and one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional protective service (e.g., security) experience.
• Ability to write effective and concise reports in legible handwriting.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including clients.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize multiple assignments, and manage deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, operations management, or other leadership functions in the security industry.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, and/or military.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

$17.51 per hour.
