Security Event Officer

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Response Security Officer for its Events Team. The ideal candidate will join a team known for delivering top-notch customer service to high-end clients and thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct area patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points by managing traffic flow and preventing overcrowding
• Conduct bag checks, verify tickets and IDs, and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
• Assist guests with directions or questions
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card)
• Complete additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Be responsive and have strong problem-solving skills
• Driver's license preferred
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus

Schedule

Event Team must be flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) as scheduling needs may vary based on event needs.
