About the role
A security engineer with expertise in product security will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures for our products. This includes conducting security assessments, developing security policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in our products.
- Develop and enforce security policies and standards for our products.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security features into new products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and incorporate this knowledge into our security practices.
- Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure that our products comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in product security, including experience with security assessments, policy development, and collaboration with development teams.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Experience with AI and machine learning in security contexts.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to product security, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Experience with cloud-based security solutions and services.
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in security engineering, such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with security architecture design and implementation.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
