About the role
The Boeing Company is seeking experienced engineers to contribute to the design and development efforts for key computing assets embedded in the most advanced Boeing defense platforms. This position is an opportunity to join the Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center, which protects all critical computers across Boeing’s defense products. Unlike most aerospace roles focused on a single product, this role offers the chance to contribute across Boeing’s entire elite defense portfolio. The position is based in St. Louis, MO and is 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will lead a small team of integration engineers across multiple Phantom Works programs to ensure Anti-Tamper (AT) best practices and common solutions are applied. Responsibilities include developing and fielding new protection solutions spanning both hardware and software domains for Boeing and supplier-generated products.
Responsibilities
- Support development programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives in Product Security / Anti-Tamper.
- Develop requirements, documentation, test plans, test procedures, and participate in verification activities for Anti-Tamper development.
- Collaborate with platform chief engineers, chief architects, and team leads to define platform architectures enabling advanced tactical capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent.
- 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- 1 year of experience in design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems.
- 1 year of experience leading teams.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in anti-tamper or product security domains.
- Experience supporting Military/Defense customers.
- Experience in requirements analysis.
- Experience or interest in cryptography, secure communications protocols, and reverse engineering techniques at system and component levels.
- Experience or interest in commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) FPGAs and COTS security features.
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance.

Pay
Potential signing bonus for eligible candidates. Salary range: $162,350–$219,650 (Level 4), based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
Schedule
This position is for 1st shift and is 100% onsite. Relocation assistance is available based on candidate eligibility.
