Security Engineer (Junior)

About the role

Support deployment, testing, and operation of secure platforms and telemetry pipelines feeding SOC visibility. You'll help connect agents, validate data quality, and assist with remediation and hardening efforts.

Responsibilities

• Deploy/validate security tooling (EDR/DLP/log agents); ensure high-quality telemetry.
• Aid with hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation; document changes and tests.
• Troubleshoot integrations; support change control; maintain inventories and runbooks.

Requirements

• 0–3 years in systems/security engineering; Windows/Linux hardening, cloud fundamentals, scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration.
• Security clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust (or higher per client).
• US Citizenship or Green Card Required, with eligibility to obtain a public trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's; AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, CCSP preferred.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $63,700.00 - $139,300.00.

Schedule

This position is located in our Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
