Responsibilities
- Aid in designing, enhancing, testing, and implementing security technologies across the organization.
- Provide technical support for information security technologies, analyzing problems and resolving them promptly.
- Investigate and swiftly address security incidents, recommending corrective measures.
- Implement, configure, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) infrastructure, including Active Directory, EntraID, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability assessments and devise mitigation strategies.
- Perform threat modeling on key products and services, identifying threats and creating controls to prevent, detect, and respond.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate and automate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Offer security recommendations and solutions for both infrastructure and applications in cloud environments.
- Assume special projects as assigned, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge and technical understanding of cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Basic knowledge and experience with scripting and programming (PowerShell, bash, Python, IaC, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, CSPM, and EDR tools.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Education & Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or information technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience working with JIRA Project Management.
- Experience with IAM solutions (Active Directory, EntraID, Okta, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, Check Point Harmony, and Microsoft Defender.
- Experience building and securing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Pay
The Base Salary range for this position is between $85,000-$100,000. This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
