Security Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Security Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will focus on strengthening application, infrastructure, and corporate security across a fast-moving technology environment. You will help identify and reduce real-world security risks, respond to investigations and vulnerabilities, and support practical solutions that fit the pace of product and operational change. The position also partners closely with cross-functional teams to balance strong security controls with business needs while contributing code and hands-on improvements. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Contribute to security projects focused on application, infrastructure, and corporate security Respond to security investigations and address vulnerabilities Participate in an on-call rotation for security incidents Write code to enhance security and support projects Collaborate with security team members and cross-functional partners Help reduce known security risks for creators and their users Balance security needs with business requirements Qualifications 2+ years of experience reducing security risks in application, infrastructure, or corporate security 3+ years of experience in at least one security domain, such as infrastructure, application, or cloud security Proficiency in software development, including Python, Rust, or Golang Experience using AI tools to identify security issues Ability to thrive in fast iteration environments with MVPs and evolving products Skill in creating practical solutions to real-world problems Alignment with a mission-driven organization focused on empowering creators Benefits Fully remote work option for US applicants Hybrid work model available in New York or San Francisco Exposure to a small but effective security team Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
