Security Engineer

About the role

Our recruiting team is seeking an early-career Security Engineer to support security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and day-to-day security operations. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of security technologies while developing hands-on cybersecurity experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and assist with investigating potential threats.
• Support incident response, remediation, and escalation activities.
• Maintain and monitor security tools across endpoint, network, cloud, and identity environments.
• Assist with vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
• Help maintain security procedures, documentation, and response playbooks.
• Support security projects and technology implementations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to address security issues and improve controls.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, identity, and security principles.
• Familiarity with security monitoring or cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Security+, Network+, or similar certification.
• Exposure to SIEM, EDR, IAM, cloud security, or vulnerability management.
