About the role
PRN schedule - must be available for a variety of shifts and days (not benefit-eligible).
Responsibilities
- Receive requests for service/assistance and dispatch Security Officers.
- Maintain dispatch log, including date, time, officer assigned, type of call, and time completed.
- Monitor closed circuit television system (CCTV), panic alarms, door alarms, call boxes, and visitor/employee restrictions; dispatch information in a timely manner.
- Dispatch and monitor traffic on security radio frequency.
- Coordinate and prepare information for employee and visitor restrictions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience; high school diploma or GED may substitute for 2 years of work experience.
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent (recommended).
Pay
Most new hires start between $16.30–$20.30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
