About the role

The Security Coordinator/Sergeant performs general safety & security duties including:

• Patrol and detection services
• Aiding customers
• Response and intervention responsibilities
• Maintaining monitoring services for team member, patient, and visitor safety
• Completing communication and documentation tools
• Conducting weapons screening in an appropriate manner
• Coordination of staff activities, assignment of work for given shift, and communication between shifts
• Creation of monthly schedules, provision of training, and input for performance evaluations
• Aid in investigations, review of security incident reports and daily event logs for proper documentation
• Performance of other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Driver's License (State of Florida)
• IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year
• Security D - Within 90 days

Preferred:

• FDLE (Law Enforcement)

Qualifications

Education:

• High School or Equivalent

Preferred:

• Associate's in Related Field

Skills

Experience:

• 3 Years of Security experience
