Security Commander

About the role

We are looking for a disciplined, proactive, and experienced Security Commander to lead and manage all security operations at our manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, company assets, and factory premises through effective security management, risk assessment, emergency response, and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the factory security team on a 24/7 operational basis.
• Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure the safety and security of factory personnel, visitors, equipment, inventory, and other company assets.
• Conduct regular inspections of gates, warehouses, production areas, offices, and perimeter fencing.
• Monitor access control systems and ensure proper visitor management.
• Investigate theft, fraud, vandalism, misconduct, accidents, and other security incidents, and submit detailed investigation reports.
• Coordinate emergency response activities related to fire, accidents, natural disasters, and security threats.
• Liaise with local law enforcement agencies, Fire Service & Civil Defense, and other government authorities whenever required.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies, labor regulations, and legal requirements.
• Supervise CCTV operations and ensure continuous surveillance of critical areas.
• Prepare security duty rosters, deployment plans, and shift schedules.
• Conduct regular security drills, emergency evacuation exercises, and awareness programs.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of security guards and supervisors.
• Monitor vehicle movement, material in/out procedures, and gate pass compliance.
• Maintain all security-related records, registers, reports, and documentation.
• Identify security risks and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience: 8-12 years
• Education: Bachelor of Security Studies
• Skills: security team leadership, security operations, corporate security, security equipment operation, security management, security training, security compliance, security training programs, safety & compliance engineering
