This position is located at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Missouri (100 Cherry Blossom Way, Troy, MO 63379).
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
- Observe and report all suspicious activity
- Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies
- Maintain compliance with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Foreign Trade Zone (where applicable)
- Complete incident reports as required
- Attend weekly, monthly meetings as requested by Security Management
- Conduct interviews/hiring
- Conduct post inspections
- Create training schedules for new hire officers
- Determine new hire requirements and training requirements
- Ensure that all contracted hours of coverage are met
- Ensure that all regulatory compliance and records are available to NASEM
- Participate in site and community events and training that supports facility initiatives
- Provide instruction and guidance for all officers
- Recruit, staff, and train in accordance with NASEM requirements
- Supervise Lieutenants and Sergeants and daily security operations
- Complete officer time sheets and payroll
- Coordinate officer supply/uniform needs
- Coordinate officer vacation/time-off requests
- Coordinate fleet maintenance program
- Coordinate and provide oversight for VIP tour operations
- Oversee U.S., state and company flag maintenance/replacement
- Coordinate fire system inspection/maintenance
- Where applicable, coordinate and schedule security/emergency response officers to conduct monthly shop inspections, and work with fire maintenance and repair contractor as site representative
- Manage random bag check schedule
- Manage compliance with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Foreign Trade Zone (where applicable)
- Manage lock and key control
- Manage Lost and Found
- Liaison for local Law Enforcement tours, training or exercise events and orientation
- Monitor weather alerts through SkyGuard or other notification systems and make appropriate notifications
- Provide instruction and guidance on use of security systems for all officers
- Escalate Security/Fire/Safety issues to Site Manager immediately
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- High school degree or equivalent
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Minimum of one year of security experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
- This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
Pay
$20.75 per hour
Schedule
2nd Shift — Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (40 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday off)
