Job Summary

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville offers an exciting atmosphere combining premier music, bowling, and dining. The Security Officer ensures the safety and well-being of customers, visitors, and staff through protective and preventive measures.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor all security operations in compliance with laws and company policies
• Provide escort services to venue entertainers and officials
• React promptly to disturbances and maintain guest and employee safety
• Observe and report all activity in assigned area
• Ensure guest and employee safety during Brooklyn Bowl events
• Check guest identification and inspect for prohibited items
• Safeguard against theft and property damage
• Communicate effectively using radios, hand signals, and flashlights
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement
• Maintain a professional appearance and enforce policies
• Respond to intrusions, fires, and other emergencies
• Enforce rules regarding photography, recording, and video equipment
• Greet staff and visitors professionally

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers
• Valid Tennessee Security License required
• Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced live entertainment venue preferred
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying up to 170 pounds, verbal communication, detailed paperwork, and exposure to loud music and crowds
