Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Have above-average computer skills
- Use multiple applications daily for emergency, security, and general assistance needs
- Dispatch personnel for emergencies and non-emergencies
- Follow procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain CCTV systems and report maintenance needs
- Operate and test various security equipment
- Create and maintain reports and files
- Assist in updating reports and records
- Multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to site-specific post guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Good moral character, passing a criminal background check without felony or certain misdemeanor convictions
- Pass a drug test at hire and annually thereafter
- Present a professional appearance and adhere to grooming policy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Read and write in English and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and reports
- Reliable transportation with a clean driving record
- Physically and mentally fit to perform job duties
- Able to use hands and fingers, reach, sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond to emergency situations
- Able to work in or outdoors during all seasons, and hear conversations in noisy environments

Pay
$17 to $19 per hour
Schedule
Local Academy: 1 part-time shift Monday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Thursday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Local State Government Building: 1 part-time shift Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Thursday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
