Security Associate

Schedule

• Tuesday through Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• Saturday: 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Core Functions

• Ensure security of the building and outside trailers through constant monitoring of dock doors, incoming/outgoing drivers, and coordination of pickups and deliveries of trucks.
• Cook up the loading of trucks, ensuring correct BOLS are allocated and signed.
• Maintain organization of the security office and promote safety practices and initiatives throughout the warehouse.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School or GED Required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a shipping/logistics role.

• Demonstrated leadership and accountability.
• Skilled in general PC operation/navigation and application-specific experience including Microsoft Office 365 applications (MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to respond to complaints.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management.
• Ability to write, speak and comprehend English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw an interpret graphs.

• Develops alternative solutions;
