Security Associate

About the role

Blumenthal Arts is seeking part-time Security Associates to join their team. This role supports daily operations at both the Performing Arts Center and the Knight Theater, focusing on safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety policies and procedures
• Monitor and manage building access
• Report suspicious activity to leadership
• Assist in conducting security investigations
• Provide professional customer service
• Coordinate deliveries and access points
• Maintain detailed logs and reports
• Stay informed on facility schedules and operational policies
• Perform minimal housekeeping/maintenance duties
• Aid in the training process for new team members

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of office administration or facilities coordination experience
• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
• Proven professional communication skills
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365
• Physical ability to navigate the facility, including theater venues and backstage areas
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
