Pay

Pay Range: $17-$18 hourly

About the role

As a Safe and Secure Associate, you will be an integral part of the Safe and Secure Team executing programs and processes at our facility to ensure our associates, customers, and assets are protected. You will manage and properly document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates, lead with effective communication, conduct routine patrols, become trained and certified on life-saving measures, partner with your Safe and Secure Team Lead and Manager, and execute facility Safe and Secure Principles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and document car movement
  • Ensure proper protocols are followed with egress and digress procedures
  • Provide assistance during emergencies
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures
  • Conduct routine patrols and document concerns
  • Train and certify on life-saving measures
  • Support badge creation and CCTV reviews
  • De-escalate situations and collaborate with partners
  • Execute facility Safe and Secure Principles
  • Utilize Safe and Secure Application (SAS App) and RFID technology
  • Deliver a service-first approach

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of strong decision-making
  • Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships
  • Organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Handle conflict situations positively

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, card access, and other Safe and Secure Technology
  • Previous experience supporting an OSHA program – Safety Team
  • Previous experience supporting crisis prevention and/or response plans

Other Requirements

  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Designated as a safety-sensitive position
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
  • Able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling
  • Able to work in environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance
  • Able to use safety equipment such as face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments and equipment
  • Able to drive and perform computer data entry
  • Able to adhere to regular and predictable attendance
