Qualifications

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures
• Respond, report, and deter inappropriate actions or activities from both internal and external sources
• Manage and monitor traffic control points as assigned
• Evaluate prevention measures, maintain crisis plans, and respond to school/department emergencies
• Provide security and crowd control for school activities, sports, and special events
• Aid the Rapid Response Associates with safe school audits
• Aid administrative staff in lockdown procedures
• Prepare the "crash box" for school
• Be familiar with building emergency action and evacuation plans
• Work with School Resource Officer and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Police Department on crime prevention techniques
• Work with Property Managers to help identify building and grounds safety concerns
• May write disciplinary referrals for students
