Security Analyst - Information Tech (Days)

Establish and enforce system controls to ensure the protection of computer assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security processes, support disaster preparedness, facilitate audit reviews, and monitor security configurations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security processes
• Support disaster preparedness initiatives
• Facilitate audit reviews
• Monitor security configurations
• Create technical procedural documentation
• Apply knowledge of IT infrastructure, change management methodologies, and problem-solving methodology
• Perform log management, patch management, and vulnerability management
• Secure virtual machines (Citrix and others)
• Develop and enforce security architecture, policies, and standards
• Manage risk and handle security incidents and responses
• Classify information appropriately
• Troubleshoot network layers and components

Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Science or MIS field and one year of technical experience, or four years of experience in IT Security instead of a degree
• Minimum of one year of experience in:
  • Log Management
  • Patch Management
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Virtual Machine Security (Citrix, others)
  • Security Architecture, Policies & Standards
  • Risk Management
  • Incident Handling and Response
  • Information Classification
• Proven ability to troubleshoot many facets of network layers and components
• Basic knowledge of firewall technology, IDS/IPS systems, virus protection, and content filtering technology
• Organized, accurate, with strong English grammar and spelling skills
• Self-starter, quick learner, and minimal ramp-up required
• Neat, pleasant demeanor with a confident personality
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Certification in IT Security and/or networking field (preferred)
