Security Analyst/Engineer

About the role

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide Computer Network Defense (CND) support to ensure compliance with all appropriate Information Assurance (IA) and Continuous Monitoring (CMS) policies, procedures, network defense requirements, and best practices as prescribed by the ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, ARCYBER, and CSSP TIER-II, and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide CND support to ensure products, systems, and services comply with all appropriate IA & CSSP policies/procedures, network defense requirements and best practices as prescribed by the ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, ARCYBER, and CSSP TIER-II, and local authorities.
• Be computer literate with emphasis on proficiency with MS Office products (i.e.; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams).
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Obtain and maintain TS with SCI eligibility.
• Certification & Training, Baseline, day 1: Any one of the following certifications: CEH, CySA+, CCNA Cyber Ops, GCIA, GCIH.
• Certification & Training, CE, day 1: None.
• Certification & Training, CE, within 6 months: CISA or GSNA or CySA+ or cyber/information/network security advanced degrees (additional training, certifications, and/or years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for a degree).
• Experience: At least two (2) years’ experience with Cyber Security CS disciplines within the DoD and/or other agencies within the United States Government.

Qualifications

• Proficiencies: Advanced IT administrator skills in remote administration, remote desktop; working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies; working knowledge of the DoD, IC, and national level system security initiatives; must be familiar with the requirements outlined in the most current Evaluator Scoring Metric (ESM).
