Security Agent - Weekends

Brief Description Job Summary The Security Agent is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, customers, employees, and facilities. On-site Security personnel will ensure strict adherence to all security protocols, procedures, and controls. The Security Agent is responsible for ensuring the overall security of the facility or facilities. Schedule: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, Friday/Saturday/Sunday Pay - $18.50/hour Essential Job Functions Ensure the safety of personnel and protection of company assets and productsMonitoring of security systems to ensure serviceability and operability on a daily basisAssist with monthly equipment checks of security equipment and systemsParticipate or coordinate fire drills, and building evacuations and life safety drillsAssist with implementation of security policy, procedure, and protocolsInvestigate suspicious activity and document in clear methodical mannerCoordinate safe and compliant movement of product and assets within the facility Minimum Job Requirements Must be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be able to obtain and maintain a state Registered Agent Card or equivalent state credentialsMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industryMust successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings and background checksDemonstrated understanding of, or willingness to learn, cannabis industry compliance standards including packaging, labeling, and product safety regulationsDemonstrated self-defense, de-escalation, and conflict resolution skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established policies, procedures, and safety standardsEffective team player with strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management, organization, and multitasking abilitiesAdaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while responding to changing priorities and feedbackMaintains a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAbility to work safely around hazardous chemicals and identify, report, and address unsafe conditions or equipmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motionsPhysical demands - May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
