Security Administrator
About the role
We are seeking a Security Administrator to support the Space Development Agency’s (SDA) mission as the Department of Defense’s constructive disruptor for space acquisition. SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. The Security Administrator’s primary function is to provide multi-discipline security support for one or more of the client’s Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP), and/or collateral programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform entry, exit, visitor processing, and escorting for day-to-day operations.
- Maintain and document personnel security accesses, including databases for all collateral, SAP, and SCI personnel, and conduct indoctrination and debriefings as required.
- Review personnel security packages and, when required, draft and initiate staffing of waiver request documentation to appropriate security authorities.
- Assist with development and implementation of a Security Education and Training Awareness program and develop security education bulletins, directives, security plans, procedures, and controls to ensure Government-wide awareness of SAP and SCI protection requirements.
- Provide daily administrative support as required or as directed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required (or 4 additional years of experience).
- Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
- 3 years of related experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; willingness to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) organizations.
- Previous experience within the Security career field.
- Completion of CDSE courses.
