About the role
The Security Administrator will join our security team and operate in a dynamic, high-security environment supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs). The role involves interfacing with senior leadership and government officials daily, executing security policies, and ensuring compliance with classified information protection obligations.
Responsibilities
- Interface with senior leadership and government officials from multiple agencies daily.
- Review and process PSQs and PARs.
- Assist in executing security policies and procedures under the direction of the PSO.
- Present indoctrination, debrief, and refresher training for program-briefed personnel regarding obligations to protect classified information.
- Assist with coordinating visits and meetings on behalf of government leadership.
- Address security concerns, incident reporting, and investigations in a discrete and professional manner.
- Periodically travel for training events, conferences, seminars, and assist in on-site assessment activities under government oversight.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in a DoW, DoE, or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of government security regulatory manuals.
- Strong and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Active Top Secret clearance, with SAP eligibility.
Preferred Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Special Access Program (SAP) requirements, preferably as a CSSO/ACSSO.
- Experience with security clearance databases, such as DISS, JADE, and SIMS.
- SAP training certifications through CDSE or another provider.
