About the role

Responsibilities

  • Sell Johnson Controls Security products and services to new local commercial customers.
  • Secure profitable sales and upgrades to existing Johnson Controls Security Commercial customers.
  • Renew existing customer agreements.
  • Identify and pursue resale opportunities within an assigned territory.
  • Initiate post-installation follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Centers of Influence to generate referrals.
  • Process work orders and paperwork in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Conduct post-installation follow-ups to contact customers and confirm commitments.

Requirements

  • A high school degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage territories effectively.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry.

Qualifications

  • Preferred college degree.
  • Knowledge of Johnson Controls Security products and services.
  • Understanding of customer needs and issues.

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage territories.
  • Knowledge of Johnson Controls Security products and services.

Pay

Hiring salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
