Securities Litigation Associate - Los Angeles (Century City)

About the role

Katten, a global Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Securities Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles-Century City office.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex securities litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Work closely with senior attorneys and paralegals to manage case responsibilities
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and demonstrate sound judgment

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Securities Litigation on the defense side at a nationally recognized law firm
• Admission to the California State Bar
• Substantial knowledge of federal securities laws (the PSLRA)
• Strong research, analysis, and writing skills

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school

Skills

• Excellent legal research and analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in legal software and technology tools

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $270,000 - $385,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to: relevant experience and work history, graduation and class year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
