Securities Litigation Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits and complex commercial litigation
• Advises clients in securities-related investigations and regulatory enforcement matters
• Support advocacy before federal and state regulators to minimize enforcement actions
• Afford assistance with internal, government and regulatory investigations
• Draft motions, briefs and other substantive court filings
• Conduct legal research and develop strategic litigation positions
• Work closely with clients on sophisticated securities disputes and regulatory issues
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-profile matters

Who You Are

• 3rd–5th year associate
• Securities litigation experience gained at a leading law firm
• Experience handling securities disputes, investigations or regulatory enforcement matters
• Strong analytical, research and legal writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Prioritization and multitasking skills
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Active California Bar admission

Compensation

Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000 (DOE)
