Responsibilities
- Lead the Company's environmental sustainability strategy, driving execution through cross-functional partnerships and enterprise-wide programs, including development of sustainability trainings, workshops, employee working groups and sustainability programs and events.
- Establish data governance, baselines, and KPI frameworks to track performance and achieve sustainability targets.
- Ensure effective integration of EHS and sustainability requirements across capital projects, from planning through construction.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to embed EHS considerations into design and proactively mitigate risk.
- Lead and develop a team providing EHS support to engineering and project organizations.
- Advance EHS Design Review and Sustainability-by-Design processes to strengthen project outcomes and consistency.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, ensuring safe work practices and environmental protection.
- Analyze project performance and incident trends to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Champion a zero-harm, sustainability-focused culture through leadership, communication, and employee engagement.
- Lead cross-functional committees and initiatives to enhance EHS programs, policies, and training effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience or Master's Degree and a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience.
- Relevant Work Experience: Ability to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities while meeting deadlines, required. 3 to 5 years' experience in project management, required. 3 to 5 years' experience in engineering, operations, project support or sustainability, preferred. 2 years' experience leading and motivating teams, with direct reports, preferred. 3 to 5 years experience in environment, health and safety or related field, preferred.
