About the role

The successful applicant should have substantial experience in leadership and be able to oversee the entire thoracic oncology program. The section chief will be responsible for developing a clinical and translational research program, developing a portfolio of clinical trials, and mentoring junior faculty.

Requirements

  • Eligible for appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree in relevant field
  • Board certification in medical oncology or hematology
  • Experience in conducting clinical trials
  • Track record of success in research and education

Skills

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Ability to manage a team
  • Knowledge of clinical trials and translational research

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
