Section Chief, Thoracic Oncology

About the role

The successful applicant should have substantial experience in leadership and be able to oversee the entire thoracic oncology program. The section chief will be responsible for developing a clinical and translational research program, developing a portfolio of clinical trials, and mentoring junior faculty.

Requirements

• Eligible for appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor
• Substantial experience in leadership
• Experience in overseeing thoracic oncology programs
• Ability to develop a clinical and translational research program

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in relevant field
• Board certification in medical oncology or hematology
• Experience in conducting clinical trials
• Track record of success in research and education

• Knowledge of clinical trials and translational research

Pay

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
