Direct Supervision of Flight Science Engineers

• Coaching, Mentoring, and Development

Daily Duties

• Test Planning, Readiness, Execution, and Reporting
• Communication and Coordination of Testing Efforts
• Test Documentation and Reporting
• Technical Review and Generation of Test Plans
• Safety of Flight Reviews, Instructions, Test Limitations, and Post-Flight Reports
• Coordination of Test Aircraft and Experimental Equipment Configuration
• Design and Development of Safety-Critical Real-Time Data Displays and Derived Parameters
• Proper Use of Safety and Risk Mitigation Procedures
• Compliance with FAA and Transport Canada Regulations

Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline
• Minimum of Ten (10) Years of Aerospace Experience
• Previous Experience within a Flight Test Engineering Organization
• Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Collaboration and Communication with Other Disciplines
• Prioritization, Management, and Absorption of Large Quantities of Data and Information
• Problem-Solving and Coordination Skills
• Experience with IT Tools and Equipment
• Ability to Work with ITAR or CGP Controlled Programs (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
