About the role

The Chief Security Office ensures that all information within Deutsche Bank is properly protected, safeguarding employees, business operations, information assets, and client data against evolving threats. Identity & Access Management focuses on providing secure, timely, and appropriate access to Deutsche Bank assets. Within IAM, a new enterprise-wide Secrets Management capability is being established to centrally manage credentials used for machine-to-machine authentication and authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals
  • Building reliability and resilience into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
  • Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow
  • Resolving events and complex issues with an awareness of overlapping and different technology areas

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable qualification
  • Proven experience in software development and integration of a highly available and scalable software product
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Go, Shell scripting such as Bash or PowerShell) and strong understanding of APIs and web services
  • Strong DevOps background and a keen eye on process automations

Qualifications

  • Understanding of common integration patterns, architectures, and security for SaaS and Application Programming Interface (APIs)
  • Experience in information security, especially identity and access management and secrets management
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure: GCP (GKE, CloudSQL, CloudMonitoring, etc.), Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, Confluent Kafka, Helm
  • Good knowledge of Deployment - Automation & CI: GIT, BitBucket, Artifactory, Ansible, Maven, Ant Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, uDeploy
  • Experience in the development and execution of test automation scripts (Selenium, Cucumber, Karate etc.)

Skills

Pay

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.

Schedule

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
