About the role
We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Secretary in our Port Washington, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by L2150.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and clerical support for the business units
- Acts as a general information resource person
- Reviews manager's email, prioritizes, and responds when appropriate
- Maintains manager's and director's schedules
- Schedules and arranges travel arrangements for work group
- Creates and maintains files (e.g., safety training materials and manuals)
- Creates and runs reports (e.g., monthly lump sum reporting, RSST/SSCM overtime reporting, NMUC update report)
- Reviews and processes invoices (Procard, end expense reports)
- Performs general filing and distribution with Corporate Information Management
- Maintains and schedules meetings and conference rooms, arranges for catering and provides set-up assistance
- Orders and maintains supplies (e.g., drafting and EDAM)
- Manages and distributes substation access
- Tracks overtime records using ARCOS and iScheduler or similar software
Requirements
- Basic Clerical Aptitude Test (BCAB)
- Ability to classify information according to preset rules; spelling and grammar; basic mathematics; filing and sorting information
Skills
- Basic Data Entry (BDE): Entering data from paper copy onto fixed-formatted screens
- Basic Keyboarding - Typing (BKEY): Speed and accuracy typing from paper copy. Speed of 41 words per minute is required
Pay
Minimum Posting Range: $20.90
Maximum Posting Range: $34.83
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
