Secondary Utility Person Pit/Plant | Mill Creek Limestone

About the role

The Utility Person plays a versatile and important role in supporting plant operations across housekeeping, maintenance, production, and equipment operation. In this position, you’ll help monitor plant conditions during operation, perform routine maintenance/housekeeping tasks such as greasing and lubricating equipment, and maintain overall plant cleanliness and organization. You’ll also have opportunities to operate equipment and assist with a variety of day-to-day operational needs as needed, contributing directly to the safe and efficient performance of the plant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

All newly hired employees are required to attend New Hire Orientation and Safety Training in person at our Corporate Office located in Dallas, Texas. Attendance is mandatory and is a condition of employment. To support employees traveling to attend training, mileage and approved travel expenses will be reimbursed for individuals whose commute to the Dallas Corporate Office exceeds 50 miles, in accordance with company travel and reimbursement policies. Additional details regarding travel arrangements and reimbursement procedures will be provided prior to the training date.
