Secondary Teacher (Inclusive Education) - Chanel College

About the role

Chanel College, Gladstone invites applications from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join their staff in the position of Inclusive Education Teacher. This is a full-time continuing position commencing as soon as possible or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on differentiation, adjustments and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
• Develop, implement and review Individual Learning Plans (ILP) and Personalised Learning Plans (PLP).
• Aid in identifying students requiring support using data analysis, consultation and observation.
• Coordinate or contribute to case management processes with parents, teachers and external agencies and ensure timely and accurate NCCD documentation.
• Build staff capacity through coaching and collaborate with leaders to embed inclusive curriculum and accessible assessment design.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration.
• Australian work rights.

• Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education.
• A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton.

Pay

Competitive salary structure for Teaching staff - $86,600 - $126,795 (pending experience)

Schedule

• 39 weeks of term time for a school year.
