Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Pay
Salary range: $54,160 – $83,501 per 2026–2027 salary schedule (salary and benefits per Collective Bargaining Agreement).
Responsibilities
- Prepare for instruction, deliver instruction, and manage student-learning activities aligned with district courses of study, curriculum, and student Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
- Evaluate and identify individual student progress; provide special help to ensure successful learning.
- Maintain student discipline, including development and implementation of behavior management plans.
- Supervise extended study activities such as study halls, school assemblies, homeroom activities, and co-curricular activities.
- Perform activities related to attendance, grade reporting, student records, and interpretation of this information to parents.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings, curriculum committees, and other special committees.
- Comply with and participate in current district educational initiatives.
- Understand goals through cooperative, effective work with other staff.
- Incorporate and implement technology as appropriate to instruction.
- Maintain awareness of and comply with school board policies and regulations.
- Counsel students and make appropriate referrals regarding their educational program, career planning, and personal problems affecting school success.
- Maintain conditions of health and safety in the classroom and school.
- Ensure proper care of school plant and assigned equipment.
- Prepare reports requested by the principal.
- Attend to health requirements of individual students.
- Plan for and participate in parent-teacher conferences, including IEP and MDT meetings.
- Engage in continuing in-service education activities sponsored by the school or district.
- Participate in activities associated with preparations for state Department of Education and/or accrediting agency evaluations.
- Maintain professional growth through in-service programs, graduate courses, and awareness of innovations in certification area and education.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
