Secondary School Paraprofessional

About the role

The paraprofessional will support students requiring supervision and special assistance, providing academic and behavioral support throughout the day in one‑to‑one or small‑group settings guided by an IEP.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and special assistance to students.
• Deliver academic support aligned with student needs.
• Offer behavioral support throughout the school day.
• Work one‑to‑one or in small groups as directed by an IEP.

Requirements

• Two‑year college degree, or
• Four‑year college degree, or
• Relevant experience, or
• Completion of the Paraprofessional Classification Exam.

Pay

Starting pay range: $16.21/hour – $19.65/hour.

Schedule

Hours: 7:45 am – 3:20 pm, on days when school is in session for students.
