Position Overview
The Secondary Educational Assistant (EA) supports secondary teachers and staff by performing various tasks, directly impacting students' daily experiences.
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain Study Halls
- Assist with Classroom Management
- Assist with Detention as Needed
- Record and Monitor Attendance
- Support Students' Independence
- Provide Tutoring and Organization Support as Needed
- Perform Clerical Duties
- Maintain Student Records
- Implement Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Interventions and Accommodations
- Collaborate and Consult with the Learning Support Services Team
- Perform Administrative Duties Such as Hall and Cafeteria Monitoring and Support/Clean-Up, Driveline Duties
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pass a Criminal Background Evaluation
- Maintain a Commitment to Students' Learning
- Excel at Organizational Tasks Involving Many People and Variables
- Thriving in a Diverse, Intellectually Challenging, Entrepreneurial Environment
- Responsiveness: Follow Up and Follow Through with Students, Parents, and Faculty Members Are Essential
- Knowledge of Both Mac and PC, Google
Essential Physical Requirements
- Occasional Lifting (5-50 lbs)
- Ability to Stand/Walk for 90 Minutes
- Frequent Bending, Stooping, Walking, Standing, Reaching, and Sitting
Schedule
This position is available after school, operates on a day shift, and runs Monday through Friday.

Pay Range
The pay range for this role is $16.78 - $25.86 per hour (Main) and $400 - IA / EA.
