About the role
Cedar Grove High School is seeking a motivated Football Community Coach who has a passion for working with high school students.

Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach in the sport that you express an interest.
- Assist the Head Coach in game techniques and strategies to prepare them for competition.
- Determine the need for individual or team improvement.
- Accept directions from the Head Coach at all times.
- Assist with maintaining inventory of athletic equipment.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of first aid techniques.
- Maintain locker room and playing facilities.
- Community Coaches are temporary positions and must be renewed annually.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred
Qualifications
- Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required
- Valid certificate in first aid required
