Secondary Area 2 School_Paraprofessional, Special Education (Miller Grove MS) 2026-2027

Essential Functions

• Provides small group and/or individualized instruction to students.
• Affords assistance to teachers with daily classroom management activities.
• Affords assistance to teachers with assessment of student performance.
• Affords assistance to teachers with the development and organization of instructional materials.

Education And/Or Experience

• Minimum of sixty (60) semester hours or ninety (90) quarter hours of college courses completed with GPA 2.0 or higher from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university is required.
• - or - High school diploma/GED and a passing score on the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators (GACE) Paraprofessional Assessment is required.

Certificate, Licenses, Permits

• Must obtain valid Professional Standards Commission approved paraprofessional certificate.
