About the role

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach in the sport that they express an interest.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in game techniques and strategies to prepare them for competition.
• Determine the need for individual or team improvement.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of athletic equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid techniques.
• Maintain locker room and playing facilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred.
• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
• Valid certificate in first aid required.

Qualifications

Commensurate with experience.

Skills

Excellent instructional delivery skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
