Second shift SMT Team Lead

How you’ll make an impact

• Perform machine set-up and operate (Panasonic) SMT equipment.
• Assist in the daily coordination and support of SMT dept team working under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
• Affix to IPC-A-610H, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
• Operate SMT Machine during product run.
• Change component reels as needed.
• Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas.
• Communicate opportunities observed to improve safety, quality, or production processes which can reduce injuries, scrap or production losses.
• Work safely, adhering to the facility’s quality, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures and continually monitor the work environment to identify and communicate to team leader/supervisor/manager current or potential concerns.

Key Attributes

• You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Previous Leadership experience required.
• Previous SMT pcba production experience preferred but not required.
• Previous production experience preferred.
• You are comfortable with working overtime as needed, including weekends when necessary.
• You are able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions & have basic math skills.
• You find new and effective ways to streamline processes for maximum efficiency without cutting corners on safety and quality.
• You are organized, highly efficient and know how to develop specific goals and prioritize with minimal supervision.
• You can perform the essential functions of the job which at times may include for example lifting up to 30 lbs. and standing for long periods of time.

Pay

A starting pay rate of $25.76/hour, plus a $0.40 shift premium.
