Second Shift General Maintenance

Job Objective

Skilled in two or more of the following trades: Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing, Painting, Carpentry, Masonry, HVAC and Controls, Pneumatic controls, Boiler operation, Welding, Locksmithing, Vehicle repair, Millwright, Plastering. Ability to read, write, and comprehend. Possess a valid Ohio Driver's license.

Job Objective(s)

To maintain the physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude relative to communication and cooperation with the immediate supervisor regarding the assigned work tasks and the accomplishment of those tasks.
• The ability to properly install/repair all new and existing equipment.
• Inform and instruct head custodians of any and all corrections/repairs or changes and location of equipment.
• Abide by the Mansfield City Board of Education policies and regulations.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as may be assigned by the Team Leader, Manager of Custodial and Maintenance Services and/or Supervisor of Custodial, Plant and Transportation Services.
