**Job Summary:**
The Data Center Operations Technician is responsible for all IT Infrastructure, including customer configurations, within the data center environment. This role ensures all customer server environments are secure, operational, and maintain 99.999% uptime. Key responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing hardware upgrades, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The technician also handles customer maintenance requests, provides basic operating system storage troubleshooting, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including customer configurations, to ensure 99.999% uptime.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform hardware upgrades, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Handle customer maintenance requests and provide basic operating system storage troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
- Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Ensure all customer server environments are secure and operational.
- Maintain documentation of all procedures and configurations.
**Qualifications:**
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working in a data center environment.
- Ability to build, repair, or upgrade hardware components.
- Strong understanding of storage RAID configurations and requirements.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead.
**Compensation:**
The compensation range for this position is $57,371.00/year in the lowest geographic market up to $76,529.00/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may include incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
