Second Shift Assembler

Role Overview: The assembler is responsible for constructing electronic components, subassemblies, or systems by following work orders and drawings, ensuring quality and safety compliance. Core Responsibilities Read and interpret work orders and production drawings.Assemble parts using hand tools and fixtures.Perform tasks such as potting, sanding, and color coding.Inspect parts with basic testing methods.Install finished assemblies into enclosures.Maintain quality, safety standards, and workplace safety by reporting hazards.Collaborate with safety and quality departments to meet regulatory and certification standards.Adhere to company policies and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or equivalent; 1-3 months of experience or training.Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to read technical documents.Strong attention to detail, active listening, and effective communication skills.Ability to use hand tools, follow instructions, and manage time efficiently.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and work in a production environment with loud machinery and chemicals. Additional Requirements: Must be a U.S. person for legal work and able to pass necessary tests to advance. The role involves working in a production area with frequent exposure to noise and chemicals, requiring the use of PPE. The position is on the second shift.
