About the role

Responsible for leading and managing a team of pilots in rotor wing operations based in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and supervises the operations of a team of pilots in rotor wing aircraft.
  • Ensures all flights are conducted safely and in compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Manages daily flight schedules and coordinates with air traffic control.
  • Oversees maintenance and prepares reports on aircraft performance and maintenance needs.
  • Trains and mentors new pilots in rotor wing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a pilot in rotor wing operations.
  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with rotor wing endorsement.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
