About the role
Responsible for leading and managing a team of pilots in rotor wing operations based in Anchorage, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Directs and supervises the operations of a team of pilots in rotor wing aircraft.
- Ensures all flights are conducted safely and in compliance with aviation regulations.
- Manages daily flight schedules and coordinates with air traffic control.
- Oversees maintenance and prepares reports on aircraft performance and maintenance needs.
- Trains and mentors new pilots in rotor wing operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a pilot in rotor wing operations.
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with rotor wing endorsement.
- Experience in managing and leading teams.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
