About the role

The Lear 45 Second in Command (SIC) works with the Pilot in Command (PIC) and medical team to provide care at a moment’s notice. Scheduled shifts run 15/15 and service day or night trips.

Responsibilities

• Pilot will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight as described in the appropriate manuals, including regulatory and company requirements and aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with both air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to transitioning pilot and team in accordance with local or company guidance.
• Pilots are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.

Requirements

• Meet or exceed the minimum 14 CFR 135 experience requirements to serve as Pilot In Command (PIC) of an airplane under IFR
• Current First Class Medical
• Valid Driver’s License
• 2000 TT250 Multi Engine PIC
• Currently residing in or willing to relocate within a two-hour drive of Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (PANC)

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of Alaska Part 135 experience

$97,164.20 to $111,044.81 (external); internal candidates DOE
