Position Overview
St. Charles Borromeo School in Bensalem, Bucks County, is seeking a faith-filled teacher to join our faculty in an area with a growing Hispanic population. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, faith-centered learning environment that supports the academic, social, and spiritual development of each child.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student growth and respect
- Integrate faith-based values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom culture
- Prepare students for the reception of Reconciliation and First Eucharist
- Absess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Practicing member of the Roman Catholic Church, active in a parish community
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification (preferred)
- Prior teaching experience in early childhood or elementary grades (preferred)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Alignment with the mission and values of a Catholic school
- Need all required clearances
