SECOND GRADE TEACHER, ST. CHARLES BORROMEO SCHOOL, BENSALEM, BUCKS COUNTY

Position Overview

St. Charles Borromeo School in Bensalem, Bucks County, is seeking a faith-filled teacher to join our faculty in an area with a growing Hispanic population. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, faith-centered learning environment that supports the academic, social, and spiritual development of each child.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student growth and respect
• Integrate faith-based values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom culture
• Prepare students for the reception of Reconciliation and First Eucharist
• Absess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• Practicing member of the Roman Catholic Church, active in a parish community
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification (preferred)
• Prior teaching experience in early childhood or elementary grades (preferred)
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Alignment with the mission and values of a Catholic school
• Need all required clearances
