About the role

Oversees a construction crew working on the job site, ensuring work is compliant with installation and safety standards. Manages field operations with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management, and innovation. Ensures construction activities follow company procedures and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises construction crew, rendering hands-on assistance
• Manages large projects with 5 or more employees on a crew
• Completes required paperwork daily, including timesheets, as-builts or service cards, daily production reports, traceability documentation, and customer pay sheets
• Trains crew members in accordance with company safety policies
• Serves as a single point of contact with customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors performing work in the field
• Supervises daily operations in accordance with job specifications and customer requirements while monitoring the site for changing safety conditions
• Monitors crew progress to ensure satisfactory job completion, aligning construction progress with the overall project schedule and cost estimate
• Ensures all work complies with installation standards
• Performs other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of gas installation techniques and standards
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Management skills and ability to read and draft blueprints (as-builts)

Qualifications

• Education Preferred: High school diploma
• Experience Required: Five (5) years of field experience as a foreman
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum three (3) years of gas-pipeline construction and replacement experience
• Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills
